Open Day 2022

We were fortunate to have excellent weather and a great turnout for our first post-Covid family day. About 80 people enjoyed the barbecue, and there was general flying throughout the day.

We had a few demonstration slots — helicopters, drones, first-person-view experiences and aerobatics — plus buddy-box training for newcomers. The day wouldn't have been complete without the obligatory sweetie bombers: a suitably equipped and loaded pair of models dropped sweets over the field, and the children were unleashed to run out and search for treasure!
